Highland League champions Fraserburgh beat Inverurie Locos at Borough Briggs home of Elgin City

HIGHLAND League champions Fraserburgh were winners of the consolation game at the Centenary tournament to mark 100 years of Elgin City at Borough Briggs.

They beat Inverurie Locos 2-0 this afternoon with goals from Ryan Sargent and Zane Laird in the first half.

The final of the tournament will be played between hosts Elgin City and League 1 neighbours Peterhead. The game kicks off at 4pm on Sunday (June 26).

Elgin beat Fraserburgh 2-0 in the first game on Saturday, while Peterhead triumphed on penalties after a 1-1 draw with Locos.
