Highland League champions Brora Rangers sign former Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Dundee defender Josh Meekings

Highland League champions Brora Rangers have signed former Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Dundee defender Josh Meekings.

The 28-year-old has put pen to paper to sign a three-year deal with the Sutherland club as he arrives from English National League outfit Wealdstone.

Meekings played for six years at Inverness Caledonian Thistle signing in 2011 after coming through the youth set up at Ipswich Town.

He played in the 2015 Scottish Cup final 2–1 win over Falkirk before signing for Dundee in 2017 where he spent three seasons.

Speaking about signing for the club on Twitter, Meekings said: "Great to be back in the Highlands, looking forward to the seasons ahead with this ambitious club."
