Inverurie's Harlaw Park will host the showpiece match on April 6 between the Aberdeenshire duo who won their semi-final matches on Saturday.

Holders Formartine pulled off a fine 2-0 success at Brora while Cove saw off Wick Academy 3-1 at Balmoral Stadium.

The remaining Highland League fixtures for the season have also been issued, with Cove and Brora doing battle for this year's title.

With both in cup action at the weekend, Fraserburgh consolidated third spot with a 3-1 win over Keith.

The Buchan side had netted sixteen goals in their previous two wins over Huntly and Turriff but found the Maroons a tougher obstacle to overcome.

Paul Campbell's 40th minute strike put Fraserburgh ahead only for Max Berton to level for Keith on the stroke of half time.

Scott and Barbour and Sean Butcher both found the net after the break to see the Bellslea Park men home.

Inverurie Locos thrashed Lossiemouth 7-0 to stay fifth with ex-Buckie Thistle man Chris Angus grabbing a hat-trick.

A Robbie Duncanson free kick on the stroke of full time gave Forres Mechanics a 1-0 win over Clach.

Rothes won by the same scoreline at Deveronvale with sub Dale Wood grabbing the only goal on 88 minutes.

This was Vale's third home game in a row without scoring and the Speysiders closed the gap on the ninth-placed Banff outfit to two points with three games in hand.

In between them in tenth are Huntly, who crashed to a 5-0 home loss to Nairn County after having Ross Still sent off after just 12 minutes for denying Nairn a goalscoring opportunity with a foul.

Turriff United routed Fort William 12-1, the tenth time this season that the Lochaber side have conceded double figures in a match.
