Formartine United, Buckie Thistle, Brora Rangers and Brechin City have all won their opening two games, and at least one will drop points today.

The game of the day sees Brechin host Formartine while two derby matches are set to whet the appetite.

Buckie Thistle have won 26 and drawn one of 27 league matches since their last defeat in October, and are strong favourites to continue that run at Lossiemouth.

The Coasters have so far lost to Formartine and Deveronvale and lost both meetings with Buckie 5-0 last term, so anything other than a Jags win would be seen as a big shock.

Forres Mechanics make the short trip to Nairn County, who have drawn both games so far against Banks o' Dee and Rothes.

The Cans won 4-0 at Strathspey Thistle before losing 1-0 to Brechin last week. Striker Ben Barron was sent off and serves a suspension, but Lee Fraser made a scoring return in a midweek friendly and could make his first appearance of the season.

Rothes are targeting their first win of the season at home to Inverurie Locos, who have clocked up four points as well as a cup win so far this term.

Keith will aim to break their scoring duck as well as register points on the board when they journey to Turriff United.

The Maroons have lost twice in the league and once in the cup as they take on former boss Dean Donaldson's fast-improving young side at The Haughs.

Clachnacuddin stand in the way of Brora's quest for a third straight win, the Inverness men buoyed by a fine win at Huntly last week.

Huntly themselves are on the hunt for a first league point following defeats to Clach and Turriff, keen to recapture the form which saw them win 4-0 at Keith in the Aberdeenshire Cup between those two losses.

Allan Hale's Black and Golds make their first league visit to Banks O' Dee in a repeat of last season's Aberdeenshire Shield final, which Dee won on penalties.

Champs Fraserburgh will look to bounce back from last week's loss at Buckie when they entertain Wick Academy.

Strathspey Thistle sit rock bottom after two defeats and ten goals conceded, and play host to a Deveronvale side which has already won in the cup at Hermes as well as defeating Lossie in the league last week.

Saturday's Breedon Highland League fixtures:

Banks O' Dee v Huntly

Brechin City v Formartine United

Clachnacuddin v Brora Rangers

Fraserburgh v Wick Academy

Lossiemouth v Buckie Thistle

Nairn County v Forres Mechanics

Rothes v Inverurie Locos

Strathspey Thistle v Deveronvale

Turriff United v Keith
