Rothes and Elgin City have incentive of home ties in Scottish Cup third round if they can get past Dalbeattie Star and Clydebank this week

THE Scottish Cup third round draw has given Moray's two surviving clubs home draws if they can win through this week.

The draw was made by Dundee United's former Scotland defender Charlie Mulgrew on Sunday.

Elgin City visit Clydebank in tonight's BBC Scotland televised live match with the winners at home to League 1 Clyde at the next stage.

Rothes drew 0-0 at Dalbeattie Star on Saturday and if they win this weekend's replay, they would host Lowland League side East Kilbride.

Only one Highland League side is definitely through with Brechin City at home to Darvel, reward for their victory over Deveronvale's conquerors Haddington Athletic on Saturday.

Brora Rangers fought out a goalless draw with Albion Rovers and the winners of Saturday's replay are away to Ayr United in round three.
