THE new Morayshire Indoor Bowling Association season rolls out next week.

Monday sees the action get underway, with Division two champions and newly promoted Forres R.B.L facing the daunting trip to the Fochabers fortress.

Two of the title contenders Hopeman and Alves go head-to-head, where Hopeman will start favourites with home advantage.

Coastal rivals Lossiemouth will entertain Burghead in potentially the closest of the opening fixtures. Ex-Servicemen will sit out the opening week.

In the second division, relegated Lhanbryde are hoping to improve on their home form this season as they entertain Duffus while Fogwatt will look to improve on their away record when they travel to Elgin.

In a local derby, Moray will start warm favourites as they entertain Bishopmill.

Lossiemouth and Birnie will re-arrange a date for their opening clash.

Monday's fixtures, Division 1: Fochabers v Forres R.B.L., Hopeman v Alves, Lossie BC v Burghead. Division 2: Lhanbryde v Duffus, Moray v Bishopmill, Elgin v Fogwatt.
