Maroons manager Dean Donaldson is on the brink of striking a deal with the Aberdeen side to bring in teenagers Liam Duncan and Dem Yunas for the season.

"They are both good players and I’m hoping they can add energy to our team," said Donaldson.

"That will probably see our squad up to 20 players."

Keith play their first match in over six months when they host Banks o' Dee in a closed door friendly at Kynoch Park on Saturday (2pm).

"Training has been really good, the boys have come back in good nick and good shape," said Donaldson.

"The team spirit has been good and now they need games to get their sharpness back so we're looking forward to getting back to it on Saturday."

Donaldson has appointed defender Ryan Spink (23) as the club's vice-captain and the obvious successor to current skipper Cammy Keith, who plans to retire next year.

"He’s got everything, he ticks every box and he’ll definitely be the captain when Cammy does step away."
