90' Full time Elgin City 2 Albion Rovers 5. A woeful day for Elgin, how much could this dent their play-off hopes? Manager Gavin Price has to try and pick up spirits ahead of a daunting trip to face champions-elect Queen's Park on Tuesday.

89' GOAL Elgin - Conor O'Keefe gets a last minute consolation, no celebration required. He squeezes the ball in from near the by-line, Albion tried to clear but the ball was adjudged to have crossed the line.

88' Elgin are just begging for the final whistle to blow. A day to forget for the Black and Whites.

78' Albion double, Leslie and Baker replace Aitken and C Wilson.

77' Lets not take anything away from Albion Rovers who have been clinical in seizing upon Elgin's vulnerability.

74' GOAL Albion. 5-1 to the visitors, this is getting embarrassing. Sub Doherty robs Bronsky and rolls in his second of the game. It's one of the heaviest home defeats in many a year for Elgin City.

72' Last throw of the dice for Elgin on the sub front. Brown and Mailer come on for Sopel and R Dingwall. But this game looks well beyond the home side, who trail 4-1.

66' GOAL Albion! They lead 4-1 with sub Kyle Doherty flicking home a header with possibly his first touch. This has been a horror show for Elgin.

63' Albion sub Doherty on for Stevenson.

62' Time for Elgin to go with three at the back and go for broke. Captain Spark and striker Peters come off, replaced by Tony Dingwall and Smart Osadolor in a double sub.

It's almost a repeat of the Coatbride meeting between the sides, which Albion won 3-1 thanks to two goals by fortmer City loanee Matty Aitken. He's netted two more today.

58' GOAL Albion Rovers lead 3-1. The writing has been on the wall for Elgin and Lewis Wilson thought he had scored with a header which City cleared off the line, but Aitken followed up woth a volleyed finish to make it 3-1.

57' Another outstanding save by McHale to keep out sub Finn Ecrepont's header, tipping it over from point blank range.

55' Good Elgin move involving Peters and Hester, with Hester's near post effort palmed away for a corner by Stone. The corner falls to Cameron at the back post but Albion block the danger.

50' Albion sub Ecrepont on for Robertson

49' That's the real McHale! What a save from the Elgin keeper to keep out Lewis Wilson's header at full stretch. Brilliant reflexes, and how important could that save turn out to be?

46' Peters has an early chance from Elgin but from a difficult angle he guides it wide.

There is one half time sub, O'Keefe is on for Rory MacEwan. Huige second half gets underway.

Tony Dingwall and Conor O'Keefe aren't among the subs warming up at half time so both could be coming on at the break for City.

That was a nightmare of a first half for Elgin. Started well, then a fresh-air kick by keeper McHale gifts former City loan striker Aitken a 10th minute opener.

Kane Hester misses a great chance then scores his 14th of the season to level, and Elgin are pushing hard to get in front.

But another crazy moment sees McHale dive to Stevensopn's shot and the ball cannons poff the base of the post and off McHale's back and in for an own goal.

City were in control for long spells but have committed errors all over the .

You could sense manager Gavin Price's rage when the teams came off at the break.

It will have to be a lot better from the Black and Whites in the second half, I wouldn't be surprised to see changes.

44' Russell Dingwall has the chance to get the ball into the box with team-mates available but slices it into the keeper's arms.

36' Peters is muscled out trying to latch on to another through ball for Elgin. Incredibly frustrating first half for City, they've had by far the better chances but have gifted Albion two unbelievable goals.

29' GOAL Albion - and Tom McHale must be wishing he had stayed in his bed today. Cruel luck on the Elgin keeper as a Stevenson shot hits the post and rebounds off the back of McHale for an own goal. Rovers lead 2-1.

25' Hester and Sopel break for Elgin but the move breaks down and the home side get their sixth corner of the game. It's cleared.

15' GOAL ELGIN! Hester wasn't going to miss the same chance twice and from an identical position he slots a clinical left foot finish for his 14th goal of the season. Elgin are level within five minutes.

13' Another massive Elgin chance as Kane Hester goes clean through and rounds keeper Stone but a bad touch allows Lynas to come back and clear.

10' GOAL Albion Rovers and what a howler by Elgin keeper Tom McHale. Rory MacEwan's passback seemed to take a bobble and McHale completely fresh aired it on the edge of the box to leave Matty Aitken with an easy tap-in. Not what Elgin needed.

8' Big chance as Peters goes clear in the box for Elgin but Stone blocks for his legs.

6' Penalty claim rejected for Elgin, Macphee cross from the left and Russell Dingwall had loud appeals after tumbling to the deck but ref Matthew McDonald says no.
