ELGIN City will prepare for their Scottish Cup clash with Championship side Ayr Utd at the weekend with a bounce game behind closed doors with Highland League neighbour Rothes tonight.

Kick-off at Borough Briggs is 7.45pm and City and Rothes fans can livestream the game for just £1.99. Click here to sign up for the match.

Rothes are managed by former Elgin City boss Ross Jack, who guided the Speysiders to victory in the Highland League Cup for the first time in their history in October.

Elgin's game at Brechin City on Saturday was postponed due to a frozen pitch, so manager Gavin Price has enlisted the help of the Highland League side to put his players through their paces ahead of the visit of Ayr on Saturday.

A bonus for City season ticket holders and other fans tuning in for the match, will be the thoughts of Gavin Price on the Ayr game and their League Two promotion challenge from 7.30pm when the livestream starts from Borough Briggs.
