Elgin City manager Allan Hale reflects on home defeat to Edinburgh City and highlights positive aspects of Black and Whites’ push for promotion from William Hill League Two

Elgin City manager Allan Hale - watch his post-match interview above - wants to focus on the positives of his team’s League 2 season rather than losing their last three games.

The Black and Whites produced a poor display to go down 2-1 to Edinburgh City in only their second Borough Briggs loss in the whole league campaign.

Hale felt his team didn’t respond to losing a 74th minute winner and Edinburgh were worthy winners on the day.

But he added that his team would not be downbeat about the defeat - which saw City slip behind Edinburgh into fourth spot - in the same way that they haven’t got carried away by any of their wins this season.
