Elgin City wide attacker Jack MacIver says his team believes they can make a comeback in the William Hill League 1 play-offs against Annan Athletic
“Together and confident” despite a play-offs defeat on Tuesday.
Elgin City travel to Annan Athletic tomorrow, determined to make up their 4-2 deficit from their first leg defeat.
Wide attacker Jack MacIver, currently on loan from Buckie Thistle, produced one of his best performances in a City shirt in spite of the loss, earning the man of the match award.
The 21-year-old says no-one in the Black and Whites camp is giving up on their promotion dream.
“We're still very much in the tie, so we'll go down on Saturday and try to put our second half performance into a full 90 plus and hoping we come away into the play-off final.
“The changing room is fully together. It's a really good group of boys, so we're all together and confident for Saturday.”
