The Forres golfer, who is a member at Moray, defeated Michael Watson (Inverness Country Club) in Friday's scratch final to lift the Northern Amateur Championship trophy yet again.

Ex-Forres Mechanics football manager Charlie Rowley once lifted the Highland League trophy but his golfing ability allowed him to claim the Macpherson Rose Bowl for low handicap.

Rowley (Keith) beat Newburgh's Craig Smith in the final.

And Hopeman member Kyle Edwards claimed the Ross Anderson Trophy with a victory over Moray's Chris Brown in the final of the higher handicap section.
