A total of 11 members from the club took part in the Dundee open club international, gaining six medals in the process.

One of the club’s golden girls was Emily Wright who triumphed in the national 2 event in a field of 16 skaters from north and south of the border.

The male skaters weren’t to be outdone, as Cameron Wilkie also took gold in the national 1 competition with teammate John Stephen claiming bronze.

Maddie Bristow won gold in the beginner C event and Hannah Kirkman also took gold in the beginner E competition. To round off the medal haul Emme Mackintosh took silver in the beginner B event.

Most of the team gained personal best scores and David Anderson, competing in the national 7 event, landed several double axels and an impressive triple toe loop sequence.

Strong performances were also given by Miley Buchan, Chloe Sutherland, Millie Anderson and Dakota Okaña-Wilson.

Coach Graeme Summers-Campbell said: "This was a tremendous set of results. Our club is going from strength to strength with its large number of medal wins around the country.”

Events hosted by the club at their Moray Leisure Centre ice rink base include a Superskate session every Friday which is open to all skaters who have passed Skate UK level 4 and above.
