In the higher handicap Ross Anderson Trophy, James Campbell defeated Ovenstone's Chris Timm 6&5 in Friday afternoon's final.

Campbell had beaten club-mate Chris MacKenzie 5&3 in the semis while Timm ousted Derek Ramsay by one hole.

The scratch final is between Forres' Matty Wilson and Moray's Stuart Tatters.

Wilson saw off Jordan Edwards 3&2 in the morning semi and Tatters defeated fellow Moray member Malcolm Macleman 4&3.

Tatters and Wilson are battling it out for the Northern Amateur Championship title.

The lower handicap MacPherson Rose Bowl final is between home hopefuls David Finlay and Jamie Edwards.

Finlay edged out Deeside golfer Bill Bathgate 1 up in the semis while Edwards was taken to the first extra hole by club colleague Mhorvan Sherrat before sealing his place in the final.
