THE weather has decimated the Highland League football programme with Moray clubs being the worst affected.

The big Highland League Cup quarter final of the weekend between holders Rothes and league leaders Fraserburgh was postponed on Friday, with MacKessack park still waterlogged.

Keith's Highland League match against Fort William was also called off on the eve of the match with Kynoch Park unplayable.

This morning, Mosset Park failed a 9.30am inspection and Forres Mechanics' cup quarter-final against Clach became the latest postponement.

A third League Cup clash fell by the wayside half an hour later with Victoria Park also waterlogged, meaning Buckie Thistle's match against Inverurie Locos was off.

One game definitely on is Wick Academy's league match at home to Formartine United which passed a morning pitch inspection.

It looks likely that Brora Rangers will also play in the league as Dudgeon Park is due to host their match against Huntly.
