Moray golfer claims North County Championship title

Moray golfer Carinne Taylor was victorious in the Ladies North County Championships held at Forres last weekend.

Taylor, from Forres, who is also a member at Elgin and Nairn, lifted the Mary Benton Challenge Cup after defeating Reay golfer Eleanor Tunn in the final by 4 and 3.

On her way to the title, she defeated fellow Nairn member Katrina Tan in the semi final 3 and 2, and Elgin’s Shona Leese in the quarter final 7 and 6.
