John Walker, who has worked with East Kilbride, Darvel and Petershill in similar roles, has taken on the new position at the Borough Briggs club.

Walker has a wealth of experience in both football and data-driven analysis, and has a background in senior business analytics within FTSE500 companies.

“John is an excellent addition to our backroom team,” Hale said on the club’s website. “His attention to detail, tactical intelligence, and ability to communicate information clearly will be a massive asset to how we prepare, analyse, and evolve week to week.”

The club say that Walker has detailed knowledge in video analysis, opposition scouting, and data interpretation, and will bring a sharp tactical eye and proven ability to deliver insights that impact performance on the pitch.

He is currently working towards his UEFA A Licence and Elite Youth A Licence, and holds accreditations in both video analysis and scouting.
