Left back Euan Spark has put pen to paper for a further two years, keeping him at the Borough Briggs club until the end of the 2021-22 season.

The 23-year-old has impressed with his displays in defence since joining the Moray outfit from Brechin City in the summer.

Spark will be aiming to help Elgin get back to winning ways when they head to Ochilview for a League 2 fixture.

The game was postponed last month due to both clubs' participation in the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup quarter-finals.

City boss Gavin Price is likely to make changes to the team which lost 2-1 at home to Stirling Albion on Saturday.

He has no injury worries but could bring Rabin Omar or Daniel MacKay into his starting line-up, after both players had to settle for a place on the bench on Saturday after missing the Alloa Scottish Cup tie a week earlier.

Elgin are gunning for revenge after losing 1-0 at home to the Warriors earlier in the campaign.

The Black and Whites saw their run of four league games without defeat ended last weekend, as a last minute Stirling winner dropped them down to sixth place.
