All three produced superb performances with a championship best and numerous PBs among their achievements to get on the medals table.

Team GB star and TV presenter Dame Denise Lewis, who won heptathlon gold at Sydney Olympics in 2000, handed over the pentathlon medals.

In the under-13 quadrathon, which combined a 100 metres run, long jump, shot put and 600m finale, Lili Sharman represented Gordonstoun school while Erin Rigg was in action for Elgin Academy.

A third Moray pupil took part in the under-17 pentathlon with Gemma Forgie taking on the five events of high jump, 80m hurdles, long jump, shot put and 800m.

Lili was the star of the show, winning three of her four events to break the championship record and claim the gold medal.
