Organised by club member Jim Gordon, the event has been hailed as being "hugely successful".

A good field of golfers turned out to contest the three categories up for grabs. Iain Ross claimed the Scratch Section title, his round of 72 giving him a three-stroke edge on runner-up Bruce Thomson.

Meanwhile, in Section 1 victory was to go to Eddie Clark, who shot a score of 69 to nudge out the challenge of Grant Murray by two shots.

Two was also to be the margin of victory in Section 2, a round of 68 enough to land Stuart Innes the trophy.
