TWO Moray schoolgirl athletes have been selected to represent Scotland at this weekend's Celtic international games.

Milne's High pupil Hannah Kingham (14) and Elgin Academy's Tamsin Fowlie (13), both members of Elgin Amateur Athletics Club, will compete for their country in Grangemouth.

"Hannah is selected for the Scotland team for javelin and Tamsin for 100m and relay for the Futures team," said Elgin AAC coach and president Scott Hamilton.

Hannah (pictured below, left with Tamsin) will complete both a sporting double and a family double when she throws in the under-16 competition.

She has also competed for Scotland in orienteering at junior level, and recently took part in the Scotjos bi-annual tour to Gottland, Sweden, where there was a three-day competition as well as a training camp.

Hannah's sister Siobhan, now a student in Edinburgh, represented Scotland in the same Games at triple jump in 2015.

This week the Moray girls were competing against each other at the Elgin AAC club championships.
