At the Dundee Open Club International the club won three golds, three silvers and seven skaters hit personal best scores.

Two young sisters shone in particular with medal-winning displays.

Savannah and Everly Pinch ensured that their club took the top two spots in the National 1A event. Savannah (10) scored 21.71 with eight-year old Everly scoring a personal best of 20.34 in a field of 18 skaters from all over the country.

In the National 4 competition, Moray once again topped the bill with both gold and silver medals. Chloe Sutherland hit the top spot with 29.98 points whilst team-mate Miley Buchan was just behind on 29.71 points.

Further medal success came with a gold for Cameron Wilkie in National 2 with a personal best score and silver for Hannah Kirkman in the National 1B competition, also with a PB in a field of 18.

Moray also won three golds, a silver and a bronze in last month’s Aberdeen National Open.

Isla McManus and Savannah Pinch won gold and silver respectively in the National 1 event against 23 other skaters. Cameron Wilkie also took gold in the National 2 competition.

In the beginner competition there was a large field of 31 skaters competing from all over the country. Moray won gold, bronze and fourth with Leyla Adams, Emily Ritchie and Everly Pinch respectively.

Between the Dundee and Aberdeen events, strong performances were also given by Emily Wright, Maddie Bristow, Adelie Forsyth and Dakota Okaña-Wilson, most of whom hit PB scores.

The skaters are all coached by sister and brother coaching team Sue Summers-Farrell and Graeme Summers-Campbell.
