Scottish Gas Scottish Cup third round draw pairs Elgin City with Kelty Hearts for third time this season while Buckie Thistle face trip to Clydebank





Elgin City will play Kelty Hearts on cup business for the third time this season after Sunday’s Scottish Gas Scottish Cup draw was made.

And Buckie Thistle face a trip to Clydebank, conquerors of Keith this season and Elgin three years ago.

The draw was conducted by the World’s Strongest Man, Tom Stoltman, and he pulled the name of Elgin out of the hat in the fourth tie.

They host Kelty, who they defeated on penalties in the group stages of the Premier Sports Cup in Elgin but lost 3-1 in Fife in the SPFL Trust Trophy third round.

Of the remaining Highland League clubs, Buckie head to Clydebank while Brora Rangers face a tough trip to Championship challengers Livingston and Banks o’ Dee play host to Hamilton Accies.

Brechin City visit former SPFL foes Cowdenbeath and Fraserburgh are at home to Annan Athletic, with all ties played on the weekend of Saturday, November 30.
