Stirling Albion stunned the City support with a 4-2 victory at Borough Briggs in December, and remain the only side to beat the home side on league business this season.

Elgin manager Allan Hale doesn’t need reminding of that match, and will focus this week’s preparation for the trip to Forthbank on what happened in that last meeting.

City have gradually managed to get players back from injury as well as add some fresh faces to their squad since that match.

Hale spoke in his interview after Tuesday’s 3-0 win over Bonnyrigg Rose about the dangers of an experienced Stirling side who will themselves fancy their chances of making the promotion play-offs shake-up come the end of the campaign.
