TWIN brothers Graham and Lee Fraser have signed a new deal to keep them at Forres Mechanics until 2022.
The 25-year-olds penned a three-year extension to their current contracts which expire at the end of this season.
Both will be given a testimonial as reward for their loyalty in staying at Mosset Park.
Manager Charlie Rowley said on the club’s website forresmechanics.net how important the Frasers were to Mechanics.
“I am absolutely delighted with Lee and Graham both signing extensions to their contracts which shows their loyalty and commitment to this club, which continues to go from strength to strength,” he said.
“This is another example of our club showing ambition by signing valuable players in important positions so that we can challenge other clubs in the league and cup competitions.”
Striker Lee is currently recovering from a cruciate knee operation he received last month, and won’t be back in action until next season.
Centre back Graham has the same surgery in recent times and came back to full fitness.
Forres sold midfielder Alan Pollock to Rothes last week after the player rejected a new deal.
Defender Craig McGovern is currently on the Cans’ transfer list after he turned down a contract offer.
