Lossie hadn't played in a fortnight but showed no rustiness when Connor Macaulay fired them into a 15th minute lead at Bellslea.

That served to wake up the leaders, who quickly levelled through Sean Butcher.

Two goals in quick succession before half time by Grant Campbell and Butcher denied the Coasters a positive scoreline at the break.

Lossie then had Dean Stewart sent off for a late tackle and conceded three more goals as Lewis Duncan (2) and Gary Harris found the net.

Two Neil Gauld goals gave Inverurie Locos a 2-1 win to end Brechin City's five-game winning run. Kieran Inglis netted a last minute penalty consolation.

New North Cup champions Rothes overtook Brechin into third with a 4-1 success at home to Turriff United.

Fraser Robertson's early strike set the Speysiders in their stride and Ally MacKenzie and Aiden Wilson put them 3-0 up at the interval.

Ross Gunn made it 4-0 before Owen Kinsella's consolation for the visitors.

Buckie Thistle also ended a shaky run with a 3-1 victory at home to Forres Mechanics.

Marcus Goodall struck early and assistant boss Lewis Mackinnon curled in a second for Jags in the opening quarter.

In the second half, Andy MacAskill got a third for the home team but Forres came into it, missing a penalty through Paul Brindle then scoring late on through Ross Macpherson.

Two Nairn County goals at the start of the second half killed off hosts Huntly.

County led at Christie Park after 45 minutes through an early Dylan Mackenzie goal, but a Scott Davidson brace just after the break floored Huntly, who could only net in stoppage time from an own goal.

A Matthew Wright hat-trick guided Brora Rangers to a 4-1 derby win at Wick Academy.

Wright's 26th minute opener was cancelled out by a Steven Anderson leveller, but the on-loan Ross County youngster added two more either side of half time to make it 12 goals in nine games for the Cattachs.

Sub Harry Hennem also netted for Brora at Harmsworth Park.

Formartine United turned over a half time deficit at home to Clach for a 4-2 victory.

The Inverness side led through top scorer James Anderson's strike on the half hour.

Cole Anderson and Jonny Smith both netted for United in the first 15 minutes of the second half, only for Anderson's 13th of the season to level.

Smith reclaimed top spot in the scoring charts two minutes later, adding number 14 of the campaign and a late Scott Lisle effort sealed Formartine's win.

The highest scoring game of the night was in Grantown where Strathspey Thistle hit back from 2-0 down for a 7-3 success over bottom side Fort William.

Blessings Tshibikubula and Robbie Foster (pen) had the Lochaber men 2-0 up and dreaming of a first win of the season.

A Fort own goal brought Jags back in it before half time, and after Andrew Skinner missed a home penalty. Kris Duncan levelled before the game swung Strathspey's way.

Two James McShane goals and one each for Cammy Lisle, Craig Mackenzie and on loan Rothes striker Kane Davies helped end a six-game losing streak for Charlie Brown's side, with Foster notching another one for the visitors.
