TRAVEL sickness isn't a problem for Elgin City any more as their latest win on the road proved.

City's 2-1 success at Stirling Albion means they have won exactly half of their away matches in all competitions during the past two seasons.

That's a marked improvement from previous campaigns when Elgin traditionally struggled for results on their journeys away from Borough Briggs.

The Stirling Albion TV YouTube video shows Elgin recover from a missed Russell Dingwall penalty to land full points at Forthbank.

Stephen Bronsky's header from a Dingwall corner edged the Moray side in front just a minute after the spot kick save.

The Binos levelled when a Kurtis Roberts cross dropped straight into the net just after half time.

But former Stirling man Josh Peters battled past two defenders to send over a superb cross for Aidan Sopel to rise and nod home his first goal in Elgin colours.

City held on for their third away win of the campaign and they have now won 13 out of 26 matches on their travels since the start of last season.

They have won seven and drawn five of 17 league away trips during this time, with just five defeats.
