KANE Hester's mystery injury was a talking point for Elgin City manager Gavin Price after Saturday's defeat at home to Annan Athletic.

Price explained his selection of the striker as a substitute, with Hester's hamstring problem possibly being misdiagnosed.

The City boss expressed his disappointment at losing the weekend match at Borough Briggs and his desire for the Black and Whites to bounce back at Stenhousemuir next week.

Price also revealed the identity of his trialist striker, who he plans to see more of over the next two weeks.
