Hester netted twice in a 7-3 loss, having also grabbed a double a week earlier as City went down 3-2 to Highland League champions Brora Rangers.

The front man was one short of hitting the 20 goal mark last term when football was shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, and feels he can reach those heights again next term.

Last season's strike partner Shane Sutherland has moved to Caley Thistle but Hester feels there's plenty attacking options left at the club.

He started Saturday's game alongside new boy Josh Peters and believes Smart Osadolor and Joel MacBeath can help rack up the goals for the Black and Whites.
