A self-critical Tom McHale was brutally honest about his own performance in Elgin City's shock loss to Albion Rovers.
After today's 5-2 defeat, the City keeper said he had to say sorry to his team-mates for his part in Albion's first two goals - see interview below.
McHale was victim of a cruel bobble on the Borough Briggs pitch when he fresh-aired a Rory MacEwan passback, leaving Albion's Matty Aitken with an easy opening goal.
Then when a Ryan Stevenson shot hit the base of the Elgin post and bounced out, it struck the diving McHale and spun back into the net for an unfortunate own goal.
The keeper didn't hold back in criticising himself for his role in both goals.
"Errors have cost us," he said. "I'll hold my hands up, I've made two unforgivable errors in the first half, goalkeeping at it's worst.
"It's one of those things I'll take on the chin and assess. I've held my hands up and apologised to the boys.
"It's a case of not needing to make that apology. I should be doing better and I know what."
