Elgin City women’s football team secure SWFL North league title after victory at Dyce makes it 15 wins in a row

Elgin City’s women’s football team are the queens of the north after claiming a league title in only their second-ever season.

The team clinched the SWFL North championship in style, racking up their 15th win in a row by defeating hosts Dyce 2-0.

Goals by Darcy Matheson just before the half hour mark and Sarah Westwood on the hour landed City the result that makes them uncatchable.

With three games to go, Michael Morrison’s side have maximum points and could go on to have an invincible league campaign if they avoid defeat in their remaining matches.
