THE first medal of the year has been contested at Hopeman Golf Club - and the first hole-in-one has landed.
Home golfer John Muir aced the 150-yard 12th at Hopeman - the signature 'Prieshach' - with his holed tee-shot witnessed by playing partners Bryan Robertson and Gavyn Fidler.
