WINNERS have been crowned at Elgin Golf Club's Five Day Open.
After a week of golf, played from Monday to Friday last week in perfect conditions, Alan J Duncan was crowned as the men's Kynoch Shand winner, with Shona Lees winning the Ladies' Scratch trophy.
Alan J Duncan beat Michael Mann in the final of the Kynoch Shand, with the two of them making the last two after beating the father-and-son duo of Cameron and Steven Milne in the semis.
In what was a real Milne family affair, Cameron himself made the semi-final by beating his brother Jordan – who qualified for the matchplay in first place – in the quarter-final.
The Ladies Scratch Trophy was won by Shona Leese, who beat Louise Marshall in the final.
Shona qualified for the final after beating Emma Borthwick, of Nairn Dunbar Golf Club, in the semi-final, while Winnie Ross was defeated by Louise at the last four stage.
There were five other winners at the end of the week.
The W J Clark Cup was won by Alex Brand, who defeated Imlach Farquhar in the final, while the Engineers Salver was won by Strathlene Golf Club's Mark Stringfellow, who beat Ryan McPherson in the final.
Fiona Black was the winner of the Ladies Handicap Vase, beating Barbara Lock in the final. Craig Mills won the JAG Innes Cup.
The final of the Seniors Shield was contested by two golfers from clubs outwith Moray, with Patrick McNamara (Alloa) beating Ross Hardie (Fleetwood) in the final.
