ROBERTSON (Elgin). With broken hearts we announce the passing of our mum, Dorothy (nee Proctor), surrounded by her loving family at Spynie Care Home, on Saturday, 11th October, 2014, a very brave and courageous lady who will always be with us. Mum to Dorothy, Susan, Lorraine, Linda and the late Sandy, devoted granny, great- granny, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend. Reunited with the love of her life, Jimmy. Dorothy's funeral service to which all are welcome, will be held at 1.30 pm, today Friday, 17th October, in Elgin High Church and thereafter to Elgin Cemetery. MURDOCH (Elgin). In loving memory of John Stephen Murdoch (Johnny), aged 65, who passed away on Thursday, 9th October, 2014, peacefully, at home, in the arms of his beloved wife Louise and loving son Nick, precious Ga Ga of Drew and Vincent, a loving brother of Helen and brother-in-law of Susan and Mandy. Interred Elgin Cemetery.
BROWN (Elgin). Peacefully, after a short illness, borne with great dignity, at her home, on Sunday, 12th October, 2014, Jean McLennan, aged 78 years, beloved wife of the late George Brown, dearly loved mother of David, Kenneth and Malcolm, a dear mother-in-law, granny and great-granny. Funeral service to which all friends are respectfully invited at St Columba's South Church, Elgin, today Friday, 17th October, at 1.15 pm, thereafter cremation private. BOWIE (Elgin). At Stephen Hospital, Dufftown, on Sunday, 12th October, 2014, after a long illness, bravely fought with great resilience, Josephine Robertson, aged 77 years, beloved wife of the late Charlie, treasured mam of Brenda, Doreen and John, mother-in-law of Denis, Michael and Anne, dearly loved granny of Karen, Ewan, Daniel, Shannon and Leah, a dearly loved sister and auntie. A service took place at St Columba's Church followed by interment at Elgin Cemetery, on Thursday, 16th October.
CHRISTIE (Lossiemouth). Suddenly, but peacefully, at his home, on Saturday, 11th October, 2014, Gordon Stuart Christie, aged 84 years, dearly loved Uncle Gordie to all the family. Funeral service, to which all friends are respectfully invited, in St Gerardine's High Church, Lossiemouth, today Friday, 17th October, at 12 noon, thereafter to Lossiemouth Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired, may be given at the service, to Moray Coast Medical Practice.
YEATS (Lossiemouth). Suddenly, at her home, 18 Community Way, on Tuesday, 7th October, 2014, Margaret Watson Yeats, aged 78 years, beloved daughter of the late Charlotte Yeats, much loved sister to Fraser, Alec, Charles and the late Ronald Stewart, sister-in-law and good friend to Margaret and Anne, loving auntie to Charlotte, Catherine, Audrey, Benjamin and Matthew and great-auntie to Jamie, Finlay and Oscar. Forever in our hearts, until we meet again. Funeral service at Moray Crematorium, on Monday, 20th October, at 2.30 pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.
