TAWSE Died peacefully, in hospital, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday, 7th August, 2016, James Alexander Hay Tawse, aged 94 years, formerly New Street, Rothes. Interment took place at Cemiterio dos Ingleses, Gamboa, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Sadly missed by all the family.
DAVIDSON(Hopeman).Very peacefully, at Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin, with her family by her side, on Sunday, 14th August, 2016, Glynis, aged 66 years, dearly loved wife, mam, granny and good friend to many. Glynis's funeral service to which all are welcome, will be held at 1.45pm, today Friday, 19th August, in the Church of Scotland, Hopeman and thereafter to Duffus Cemetery. Peacefully, at Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin, on Tuesday, 16th August, 2016, Anne Thomson, aged 70 years, beloved wife of the late William Ross (Willie), mum to Lorna and Neil, nana to Stuart, William, Gemma, Kerry, Marie and Vicki, mother-in-law to Mary, sister of Frances, Dorothy, Mary and the late Fraser and Eric. Funeral ceremony to which all friends are respectfully invited, at William Watson Funeral Directors, Blackfriars Road, Elgin, on Tuesday, 23rd August, at 12 noon, thereafter cremation private. BREMNER (Craigellachie). After a short illness, at Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin, on Wednesday, 17th August, 2016, William James (Wink) aged 75 years, beloved husband of Jean Gordon, dearly loved dad of Linda and dear step-father of Jane, David and Joanne and a proud grandad. Funeral service at Knockando Parish Church, on Thursday, 25th August, at 1.30 pm, interment thereafter in churchyard. All friends are respectfully invited. LAING Peacefully, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Monday, 15th August, 2016, after a short illness, Alexander David Cooper (Sandy), aged 76 years, beloved husband of Sheena, much loved dad of Susan, Jacqueline and Alison, grandad of Lindsey and Elizabeth, great-grandad of Lily and Luna and brother of Derek. Funeral service at The Aberdeen Funeral Home, 49 Causewayend, Aberdeen, on Wednesday, 24th August, at 1.30 pm, thereafter to Hazlehead Cemetery. All friends are welcome. Family flowers only please.
