URQUHART - (Elgin). Peacefully, at Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin, on Friday, 15th March, 2024, Ian George Masson, aged 76 years. Beloved husband of Nichola, and the late Heather, much loved father of Neil and Jenny, devoted 'Papa' of Iona, Emma, Eilidh, Eddie, Kirsty and Chloe, a dear father-in-law of Lorne and Paul, brother of Rosemary, Michael and the late David, brother-in-law of Innes, Sheila and Ailsa, uncle, friend and colleague to so many. Ian's funeral service, to which all are welcome, will be held at 11am, on Thursday, 28th March, in Elgin Parish Church (formerly St. Columba's South), Moss Street, Elgin, IV30 1LT; and thereafter to Elgin Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations to cancer and local charities can be made at the church door, if desired.
