McHATTIE (Lhanbryde) - The family of the late Ian A. McHattie would like to thank all family, friends and neighbours, for the kindness shown by way of flowers, cards and messages of support. Most sincere thanks to Dr. Kelly, Linkwood, Elgin and Dr. Urquhart, Aberdeen, and all the nursing staff for all the medical care and support over the last seven years. Thank you also to the staff at Dr. Gray's Hospital, Elgin, and Spynie Care Home, Elgin, for their specialist care and attention in Ian's final few weeks. Thanks also to the Macmillan nurses and staff at The Oaks. Sincere thanks to both the Rev. Attie Van Wyk and the Rev. Rolf Billes, for their beautiful comforting service. Thanks to Marlene Hay and Gill Garrow for the beautiful flower arrangements in the church and at Urquhart Cemetery. Also, to Peter McKay for playing the organ so perfectly. Thank you to St. Andrews Lhanbryd & Urquhart Parish Church and thanks also to the Laichmoray Hotel, Elgin, for the funeral teas. A very special thank you to all at Graham J. Rattray Funeral Directors, for their genuine kindness, care and support throughout.
