McLEAN (Elgin). Jimmy's nieces and nephews would like to thank the people of Elgin, past and present, for the kindness and support they showed to their uncle throughout his life. To all family, friends, charitable organisations, carers, medical teams, local businesses and fellow football supporters thank you for everything you did to help Jimmy realise his dreams and to lead a full and happy life. To Bob, Lorna and Deon, thank you for the care and compassion you showed over the funeral arrangements and service for Jimmy. They were very fitting and he would have been proud. Finally, thank you to all who paid their last respects at church, to those who lined the streets of Elgin and those that attended the Cemetery to say farewell to one of the town's favourite sons.
