MACPHERSON (Elgin). It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of James Stewart Macpherson, on Tuesday, 29th November, 2022, after a short illness borne with courage and dignity. A loving, caring husband to Elizabeth, devoted father of Chris and Stewart, a fantastic grandpa to Angus, Iona, Davie and Beth, a cherished father-in-law to Amy and Maureen, and a great friend to many. He will be sadly missed. Funeral service to be held at St Columba's South Church, Elgin, on Tuesday, 13th December, at 12.30 pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, thereafter to Birnie Cemetery. Family flowers only, but donations if desired, to local charities. Bright colours or a touch of tartan welcome.
