100 apprenticeships on offer at Moray jobs fair

Some of Moray's biggest employers are going to be at a jobs fair with more than a hundred apprenticeships on offer.

Walkers Shortbread, Chivas Brothers, Moray Council, Harper and Allan Masonry, SSE and the Barnie Group will all be present at the Mansefield Hotel on the first Thursday of next month.

Expert advisors from UHI Moray, Moray Pathways and Skills Development Scotland will also be on hand to answer any questions and provide guidance on how apprenticeships function.

Aimee Stephen is from Developing the Young Workforce Moray which is organising the jobs fair.

She said: "Whether you're a recent graduate eager to kickstart your career, a seasoned professional looking to transition into a new field, or someone simply curious about the world of apprenticeships, this event is tailor-made for you. Expect a welcoming atmosphere."

Walkers have five apprenticeships, which range from catering to international shipping, IT, production and reception work.

The six at the Barnies Group include plumbing, administrative and electrical roles.

The Moray Apprenticeship Jobs Fair will at the Mansefield Hotel in Elgin, on Thursday, March 7, from 4pm to 6pm.
