13 cases in Moray over last nine days

A total of 13 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Moray over the course of the past nine days.

This takes the total since the outbreak began to 125.

A total of 582 tests have been taken by Moray residents during the same period of time.

In total, 9889 coronavirus tests have been taken by Moray residents since the outbreak began, with 112 now positive and 9777 negative.

The latest death toll update published on Wednesday showed that 21 Moray residents have now either died of covid-19 after testing positive for the virus or have had it mentioned on their death certificates.

That figure is an increase of one.

Across the area covered by the NHS Grampian health board – which also includes Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen – 74 cases have been confirmed over the past nine days

NHS Grampian has now confirmed 2065 cases of coronavirus.
