THE trial of an Elgin man accused of murdering his wife will begin in April.

Mother-of-two Arlene Fraser (33) vanished from her home on Smith Street, Elgin in April 1998.

Nat Fraser (53) denies he strangled her or murdered her “by other means to the prosecutor unknown”.

Judge Lord Bracadale ruled that the trial should begin on April 23 at the High Court in Edinburgh.
