A 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with stealing a five-figure sum in a fraudulent scheme in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.

Detective Sergeant Dave Williamson said: “We encourage members of the public to be mindful of activity which appears fraudulent and to report this to police. Officers will continue to work to bring those responsible for this kind of criminality to justice and anyone with concerns should call us on 101.”
