Surface repair work to begin on A95 in Moray this week

SURFACE repair work on the A95 near Maggieknockater and Mulben is set to begin this week.

The essential maintenance, which will be carried out by Amey overnight, will take place 200m north of Knockans Farm access.

The work is taking place to reinforce the carriageway in advance of resurfacing work being carried out on a future date.

The road will be closed overnight on January 11 between 7.30pm and 6.30am to ensure the safety of road workers and motorists.

A signed diversion will be in place, with commuters on the A95 taking the A941 to Rothes then following the B9015 to Mosstodloch.

From there, traffic can follow the A96 to Keith then rejoin the A95.

Traffic travelling in the opposite direction can follow this route in reverse.
