AN ABERLOUR shop has shut as a coronavirus precaution.

The town's The Gather'n, located beside the co-op, announced on Tuesday that it would close for a fortnight.

Along with the The Gather'n, 3 Bags Wool, which is located within the shop, has closed for two weeks.

The closure is due to a member of staff's family member testing positive for covid-19.

A social media post reads: "We would like to reassure you that none of the staff at 3 Bags Wool/The Gather’n have any Covid symptoms, but as a precaution we have decided to close for two weeks to keep our staff and our customers safe."
