Applications open for Moray Chamber's Annual Business Awards

APPLICATIONS for Moray Chamber of Commerce's Annual Business Awards are now open.

The event celebrates the outstanding achievements and successes of businesses within the region, recognising innovation, dedication, and contribution to the local economy.

The application process is now open, and businesses are encouraged to submit their entries by October 3, 2023. Businesses must be located within the Moray region or be a member of the Moray Chamber of Commerce.

Sarah Medcraf, chief executive of Moray Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are delighted to be bringing back our Moray Chamber of Commerce awards for 2023. We have four categories to suit all businesses.

“We welcome applications from across Moray and winners will be celebrated at our festive event in December.”

Businesses of all sizes and sectors across Moray are invited to submit their applications to be considered for the following award categories:

Most Promising Enterprise – Celebrating the achievements of a young business (operating for three years or less) that has shown exceptional promise and potential.

SME of the Year – This award recognises a business that has demonstrated outstanding overall performance, growth, and sustainability.

Export Award – Recognising a business that has demonstrated success and growth in international markets.

Corporate Social Responsibility – Honouring a business that has made significant contributions to the community and the environment through responsible business practices.

The Annual Business Awards ceremony will take place on December 6, 2023 at the Seafield Arms in Cullen.

Moray Chamber of Commerce also presents its Main Business Award at Gordon Castle in September. This award recognises a business that has significantly contributed to the Moray economy over the last 12 months.
