THREE people appeared in court yesterday in connection with an armed police raid at Silver Sands Caravan Park last week.

Officers swooped on the Lossiemouth holiday destination on Thursday.

Jodie Cormack (27), Demi Dunlop (25) and Tanya Hauley (24) all appeared in private at Elgin Sheriff Court charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice and possession of drugs

Cormack, who's from Lossiemouth, was also charged with involvement in the supply of drugs, and driving while disqualified.

All three made no plea and were granted bail.

A fourth person – a 33-year-old man – is still in custody having been arrested following the raid.

The matter is understood to be connected with another armed police raid which was carried out at Councillor's Walk in Elgin a week last Wednesday.
