A ROTARY Elgin member has been presented with a special award for her commitment to the club.
Team leader of communications Sheila Campbell is this year's winner of the St Andrew's Quaich. Sheila has served in the role for two years.
Club president Ian Brodie congratulated Sheila on behalf of all club members as he presented the honour last week to the "very able and professional Rotarian".
Sheila was selected by Rotary Elgin Council members to receive the quaich, which was given to Rotary Elgin in 2003 by the St Andrew's Club. It is awarded annually for outstanding service.
This year the quaich was awarded for efforts to keep the club alive through dedication during these challenging times.
The uniqueness of the award is that it is not presented to past winners.
