Sheila was selected by Rotary Elgin Council members to receive the quaich, which was given to Rotary Elgin in 2003 by the St Andrew's Club. It is awarded annually for outstanding service.

This year the quaich was awarded for efforts to keep the club alive through dedication during these challenging times.

The uniqueness of the award is that it is not presented to past winners.
