Baxters Food Group closes café and shop near Fochabers in Moray

Baxters has closed its café and shop near Fochabers with immediate effect in response to the coronavirus crisis.

A spokesperson for Baxters Food Group has just issued the following public statement.

It says: "In light of the evolving situation with COVID-19 and current Government advice, we have decided to close our Highland Village restaurant and retail site in Fochabers from close of business this Friday, 20 March.

"As a responsible company, the welfare of our colleagues and customers are our top priority and we must put sensible precautionary measures in place.

"Our production site remains operational.

"We will continue to review the situation and look forward to being able to welcome customers back to the Highland Village in the near future."
