SCOTS singing sensation Jai McDowall will perform in Elgin next month.
The Britain’s Got Talent star, who first burst onto TV screens in 2011, will deliver a power setlist when he takes to the stage at Elgin Town Hall on January 31.
Ayrshire born Jai (33) won the fifth series of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent in 2011.
Since then, he has appeared on The Royal Variety Performance, China’s Got Talent, Mad About the Musicals and Les Musicals with Jonathan Ansell.
He recently appeared on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, performing Lady Gaga's hit from A Star is Born, I'll Never Love Again, which received standing ovations from all four judges.
Jai is looking forward to playing in Elgin for the first time and hopes to see fans old and new.
He said: "I’ve never performed in Elgin before and I’m really excited about my first show there.
"I’ve heard great things about it and I've also heard that the fans in the north are brilliant too.
"No matter where I sing in the world, its great to play on home soil... you just can’t beat a Scottish audience. I’ve got some amazing songs lined up for the show – perfect to chase away the January blues!"
