A Big Breakfast is being cooked up this Saturday by the young people at the Elgin Youth Cafe.

The public will have the option of either a full cooked breakfast or a stack of pancakes and bacon along with filter coffee, tea or a soft drink for only £7.

Additionally, children under the age of 10 can eat for £5.

The event follows on from the success of the youth cafe's first Big Breakfast last October.

Proceeds will go towards the free meals provided for 11 to 18-year-olds at the venue's eat, chat, chill sessions, or to buy ingredients for its after-school cooking classes

A spokesperson for the venue on Francis Place said: "The money raised will make a real impact on local young people.

"This time around, our Big Breakfast will be organised and run in collaboration with young people involved in our Youth Takeover group.

"From distributing posters and flyers to organising a raffle, the team are working hard to promote and plan this event."

Booking is essential.
